About Cobaltic
Hi, I’m Beau Martin, Owner and Principal of Cobaltic.
I’ve worked in the construction industry for over 15 years; residential, commercial and civil, in the field and in the office: estimating, building, managing, accounting, you name it.
It has been encouraging to see the continual change over this time, and especially, where we are at today. Innovative people are constantly delivering new tools to this industry, and now AI is opening doors that didn’t exist even five years ago. We’ve got more available to us than at any point in my career, and what’s available continues to grow exponentially.
I believe we’re on the brink of amazing technological advancements most of us can’t even imagine yet. Discoveries are being made in the sciences that redefine our understanding of reality over and over again, at a breakneck pace. Honestly, I love “geeking out” over construction, science and tech, but recently, even I’ve been overwhelmed by a feeling of not being able to keep up.
Despite my gratitude for having so many tools at our disposal, even digital ones, I’ve become increasingly aware that they will never be able to replace the value of a human being. Even at their best, their value is directly related to how much value they give to you and me. They have no value outside of the human experience.
That is what excites me the most about the future: that people will begin to realize the irreplaceable worth inherent in the experience of another human being, and future tools will only be accepted as far as they elevate the expression of each person’s value.
But let’s be honest: sometimes in construction, the very best digital tools at our fingertips come up short. Even with our best efforts, they fail in allowing us to bring and realize our highest value in the marketplace, because they aren’t adequately built around the most valuable asset: the people actually performing the work.
That is why Cobaltic exists.
You and your team are unique, and where your current software or data systems fail in features, functionality, or connectivity, we help you win by filling that gap.
If you’re wondering what working together looks like: every engagement starts with a short, paid discovery. I dig into how your systems actually run (and people actually work) and hand you a written findings-and-roadmap document that’s yours to keep, whether or not we go any further. When there’s a fit, we agree on a fixed scope and a price tied to a defined outcome.
If you or your team could benefit from better data connectivity and simple-to-operate surfaces, please reach out. I’d love to hear from you, and I’ll give you a straight answer about whether I can help.
